Configuration

You will be asked for the: Product, Hardware Platform, Drive Configuration, RAID Configuration, Ethernet Devices, Cluster Configuration and Software Build ID.

Field Dependencies

As you choose your Hardware Platform automatic changes will be made on the Drive Configuration, on the RAID Configuration and in all the ethernet devices options (you can check that clicking on show details).

Configuration 1/1

Hardware Platform: Indicates type of hardware platform being used.

Configuration: Indicates the configuration that is going to be used.

Node Separation: Choose separate for node separation scenario or none for collocated nodes.

Software Build ID: In case of an upgrade set the new Build ID.

Survival Authority: IP address of Survival Authority.

Preferred Node to TakeOver: It is the first OSV node that tries
to deactivate the partner node after a x-channel failure to
avoid a split brain scenario.

Timezone: Set the system time zone. (Country) See: man timezone for more information.

Keyboard-layout: Set the system keyboard-layout.

Stand Alone Service Permitted: Select if you wish to have Stand Alone Service.

X-Channel Compression: Select if you wish to enable X-Channel Compression.

Cluster Timeout: Timeout that will cause a reboot because of X-Channel failure.

Cluster Name: The name to be given to the cluster

Node 1:

Name: Node name of first node in cluster

Node 2:

Name: Node name of second node in cluster
